Meet the grandma, 93, who's gone viral for sassy GRWM videos, unconventional dating tips and for crashing her ex's FUNERAL as she says of her late lover: 'I slay while he lays'

A grandmother has gone viral after filming sassy GRWM videos, giving out unconventional dating advice and for crashing her ex's funeral.

Lillian Droniak, 93, who adopts the catchphrase: 'I slay while he lays', has more than 11.5million followers on TikTok thanks to her cheeky videos about her life as a single nonagenarian and the string of ex-boyfriends she likes to put on blast.

The self-professed 'celebrity' has a seemingly humble background, currently living in Shelton, Connecticut with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In a recent video shared to her account Grandma Droniak, Lillian posted a series of clips on dating red flags to stay away from, such as avoiding a man if he doesn't like bingo or if he golfs.

In the first part of the video, she reveals some points of her unconventional list, which include, 'If he doesn't hold the door for me. It's not that hard.

'If he doesn't like bingo, I don't date him because I love bingo. If he doesn't keep enough soup for me in the refrigerator. I always like soup and eat soup.'

And she concluded, 'If he doesn't call me pretty all the time, I don't want anything to do with him.'

In a follow-up clip, Lillian went even further as she added, 'If he lies about his height. It's okay if you're a short King, we just need to know.

'If he is a water sign, run, run far away. Don't forget J names. I'm talking about Jimmy, Jason, Jack.'

Another popular category of Lillian's videos are her 'Get Ready With Me' videos.

Among the favourites, she has 'GRWM to sign my will', 'GRWM to see my gravestone', 'GRWM to dump my ex again', and 'GRWM for a funeral after party'.

In one particularly popular one, which has amassed over 16.7 million views, Lillian prefaces the clip with: 'GRWM 2 visit my ex's grave'.

In the video, she says: 'Today's his birthday and I want to drop off some flowers! Of course he was a water sign... but sometimes I do miss him. He was a good kisser!

'Don't forget the blusher... I slay while he lays. He cried like a baby when I dumped him... So I'm going to wear baby earrings. Let me show you my outfit.

'I'm bringing him fake flowers... so they don't die like him.'

The clip then skips to Lillian walking through the cemetery. She says: 'I made it. Happy birthday Bruce, I hope you're slaying in peace.'

Another hit on her page was a clip titled: 'Rules at my funeral'.

With 41 million views, Lillian filmed herself in front of text that read, 'rules at my funeral.'

The rules read, 'cry but not too much,' 'Bertha isn't invited,' and 'get drunk afterward.'

Grandma Droniak explained why she didn't want guests to cry too much, saying, 'Don't make a fool of yourself.' She also told them to get drunk, adding, 'Take a shot for me.'

Lillian has previously said that the main aim of her TikTok was to open up a 'lighthearted' conversation about death on her platform.

She told Insider: 'It doesn't need to be scary or taboo. It helps you live life better if you're not afraid.

'I joke about death because it will happen to all of us, as scary as that is,' she told Insider, adding that we 'might as well laugh about it.'

Droniak posts comedic videos on TikTok every few days, often giving life advice to her followers.

She told Insider that she films a lot of these videos herself, but one of her grandsons, Kevin Droniak, who also posts on the app, helped her set up her account and sometimes assists with filming.

But her light-hearted tone once took a turn for the worst, after coming face-to-face with the family of an ex.

Last year, the celebrity grandma revealed that her ex Bruce would no longer be calling her because he died.

'January me: does our ex ever stop calling???' she captioned footage of herself holding a flip phone. The clip then cut to her laughing at a picture of his tombstone: 'November me: yes.'

'RIP Bruce but now you can't call me,' she added when she posted the video, which has been viewed more than 21.4 million times.

Three days later, Droniak filmed a 'get ready with me' video before heading to Bruce's funeral, saying she wanted to go see him one last time to say 'so long.'

'I don't want to put too much makeup on. I don't want to steal the show,' she explained as she dabbed blush on her cheeks. 'You can't forget the lipstick,' she continued, opting for a shade of pink. 'He used to like this color.'

After she was done putting on her makeup, she slipped on a black faux fur coat before heading out the door.

'I don't want to look too nice because this is a funeral,' she explained at the end of the video, which has earned more than 45.2 million views and 64,000 comments.

Many fans called her 'iconic' and a 'legend' as they insisted they want to be just like her when they get older.

Another follow-up clip showed her dancing outside in the outfit she wore to say goodbye to Bruce one last time.

'This is the outfit I wore to my ex's funeral, but I didn't want to be rude and film this at the cemetery, so I'm doing it on my deck. I was best dressed,' she wrote in the on-screen text.

'I think I slayed the funeral,' she added in the caption. 'But RIP Bruce you were handsome.'

Uh oh: Droniak was accused of being 'rude' and turning Bruce's passing into 'a joke,' but she insisted that she 'never regrets slaying even if it's at a funeral'

Uh oh: Droniak was accused of being 'rude' and turning Bruce's passing into 'a joke,' but she insisted that she 'never regrets slaying even if it's at a funeral'

Just when it seemed that Droniak had moved on from her ex's passing, she revealed that a woman who claimed to be his daughter Sue had reached out to her.

'It's so iconic that you went to your ex's funeral and slayed it,' she captioned a video of herself laughing before the footage cut to Sue's angry letter.

'Hello Lillian, I am the daughter of your ex that just passed away. I can't believe you made a joke on TikTok about him passing and you slaying at his funeral. Your [sic] rude and I hope you stop "slaying" really soon... if you know what I mean,' the email read.

However, Droniak didn't seem to be too bothered by Sue's reaction, and she doubled down on her funeral slaying.

'I never regret slaying even if it's at a funeral and it sounds like Sue doesn't know how to slay,' she wrote in the caption.

To add insult to injury, Droniak shared in the comments that she couldn't resist correcting Sue's grammar after she incorrectly wrote 'your rude' instead of 'you're rude.'

'I responded with — you’re*,' she told a fan.

Despite the drama at the time, grandma Droniak has continued to grow a strong presence on the platform.

And to the delight of her adoring fans, she reminds them every day - on the description in her platform - that: 'Yes i can be your grandma too'.
